Help us with one of our projects.

Completed! Office Renovation —The administration office was cramped and stuffy, making counseling and daily interaction with house mothers, staff, volunteers, and the children, difficult. We moved their office into another part of the building where adequate ventilation (heater/air conditioner) could be installed and where there was adequate space to work.
Cost, including office furniture and air conditioner: $2,000 USD/CAD

Completed! Fans —All nine houses needed bedroom wall fans. During the summer these rooms get very hot, making it difficult for the children to sleep.
Cost: $90 USD/CAD per fan for 18 fans

House Repairs —After ten years, wear and tear sure adds up! Perhaps you or your church group could help us fix up an older home. A fresh coat of paint, general repairs, furniture replacement/repair, appliance replacement/repair, and termite control can make a home look new again.
Status: Ongoing

Dental —Many children who come to Chain of Love have never used a toothbrush, let alone seen a dentist. Since their dental hygiene is at our expense, this is another real need with a real face. Your contribution to our general fund for this is greatly appreciated.

Fire Safety —To meet the fire code, we must have a fire extinguisher in every building.
Cost per extinguisher: $40 USD/CAD
Status: We still need 5 fire extinguishers.

School Materials —Just as you send your child to school each day, please remember that Chain of Love does the same for ninety children! Whether it’s paper and pens or craft supplies and books, the amounts add up quickly. Please consider donating to our general fund to help purchase school supplies.
Cost for each child per year: $75 USD/CAD
Status: Ongoing

Appliance Repair/Replacement —As our campus ages, our heavily used appliances require more and more maintenance. Could you help replace an aging appliance? Right now our priority is gas dryers.
Cost of a gas dryer: $800 USD/CAD
Status: We need 8 dryers.

Medical Needs —Surgeries, glasses, trips to the doctor—we pay for all of these. Helping us defray these health costs is most welcome.
