Solaina - House 2
Solaina comes to Chain of Love with her older brother Everton. They come from the beach city of Cidreira and will join their other brothers Alexsandro and Jorge in House 2 with houseparents Eli and Raimundo.
Solaina’s mother is in jail and her father has another wife and started a young family with her. Solaina and her brother were taken in but the maternal grandmother would make life so miserable for the family day and night that eventually they decided to give up Everton and Solaina. Their grandmother is not capable of raising them either as she would beat them and stick them with the point of a knife.
Solaina is very polite and well mannered and loves to talk. She is already helping out with the household chores and loves being at Chain of Love. She is presently in Grade 1.
2009 Update: Solaina is an obedient child. She was pleased with good grade in Physical Education. It is a challenge for her to see the positive side of situations, and at times she is stubborn and critical. Please pray as she adapts to her new house mother and also pray for her biological mother.
